Hi, I’m Jessie Clark,
the creative force behind Perched Owl.
Design has always been more than a career for me—it’s a passion that drives everything I do. I began my freelance journey in 2004, creating designs for friends and small organizations, and quickly discovered how much I loved bringing ideas to life. While studying at Greenville Technical College, I was honored to receive two awards at my first student show—one from the late John Antonio for a billboard design and another selection for Blue Granite Review, GTC’s Art and Literary Journal.
Since earning my graphic design degree in 2008, I’ve built a well-rounded career in commercial printing, design, branding, and marketing. My hands-on experience in the print industry has taught me how to create visuals that are not only bold and engaging on-screen but also polished in print. Combined with my expertise in brand development and marketing strategies, I design cohesive event materials, impactful business marketing pieces, and versatile creative templates that make a lasting impact and help brands connect with their audience.
I’m passionate about helping small businesses and non-profits turn their vision into beautiful, effective designs. What might feel like an overwhelming process, I turn into an enjoyable, collaborative experience. Every project is a new challenge I’m excited to solve, and I’m here to make the entire design journey smooth, thoughtful, and rewarding.
