Crystal is more than a friend; she is family. When she was diagnosed with ALS in August 2022, I watched her journey unfold with courage, resilience, and a strength that continues to inspire me every day.

ALS doesn’t just affect one person, it impacts entire families. I’ve seen the challenges Crystal faces, but also the unwavering love and determination surrounding her. Through her, I was introduced to Touched By ALS, an organization that doesn’t just raise awareness but provides direct help to families living with ALS right here in Greenville, SC.

Their work has made a real difference for Crystal and so many others. Supporting them through Perched Owl feels like the most natural extension of what I value both personally and professionally.
