Restored & Renewed – Fashion with a Purpose
Client: Restored & Renewed
Industry: Non-Profit / Social Enterprise
Founded: 2021
Background
Restored & Renewed was founded in 2021 by Amy Kline as a personal passion project. I first connected with Amy in 2017 through a business venture, and I’ve had the privilege of witnessing her journey as she turned her experiences into a mission-driven initiative.
Amy’s inspiration came from a deeply personal experience—her sister’s incarceration following a tragic accident. Through this, Amy gained firsthand insight into the justice system and the challenges women face behind bars. She also became acutely aware of the difficulties formerly incarcerated individuals face when trying to reintegrate into society and secure employment.
The Challenge
Restored & Renewed was built on a foundation of faith, hope, and second chances, but as a newly established nonprofit, it needed visibility and strategic branding to further its mission. Their mobile thrift store concept, which relies on donations and resale, required a strong presence to attract donors, customers, and community support.
The Solution
To help amplify Restored & Renewed’s impact, I worked on:
By focusing on their core values—faith, hope, and new beginnings—we helped position Restored & Renewed as more than just a thrift store, but a ministry of grace and renewal.
The Results
Since its inception, Restored & Renewed has served hundreds of clients and customers, providing quality clothing while reinforcing a message of restoration and second chances. Their mobile thrift store continues to expand, offering resources, hope, and faith-driven encouragement to individuals in need. Items that don’t sell are donated to local nonprofits, ensuring nothing goes to waste.
Conclusion
Restored & Renewed is a testament to the power of faith and perseverance. Through their mobile thrift store, they have created a sustainable, impactful way to support formerly incarcerated individuals and those in need while spreading a message of God’s love and grace. Their guiding scripture, Matthew 6:25-34 (Do Not Worry), serves as a reminder of their mission’s purpose.
Their work continues to grow, and I am honored to have contributed to their branding efforts as they bring encouragement, restoration, and renewal—one outfit at a time.
